Manoj Rana is a Principal at Agile Insights LLC. His expertise lies in aligning technology with business objectives, driving business value from marketing and IT, data driven marketing, CRM, analytics and enterprise architecture. His most recent engagements include a business and IT transformation for a Fortune 500 insurance company, CRM and data driven marketing strategy for a major health care operation in North America and B2B marketing strategy and innovative sales tool deployment for a Fortune 500 software company. Manoj is also the Program Director for Kellogg Technology Strategy Summit (KTSS), a semi-annual exclusive invite only event of key technology and business executives for cross industry exchange and discussions of ideas for business growth and innovation through IT.

Prior to Agile Insights, Manoj was responsible for the strategy and product roadmap for a mid-size business and IT consulting company. In this role, he also led business and IT transformation engagements for the clients in insurance, financial and healthcare industries. Prior to that he worked for a Fortune 500 Health Insurance company and led initiatives that included IT processes and technology standardization, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM), legacy modernization and IT planning and execution during mergers and acquisitions.  He also worked on a number of projects such as bill review process optimization and system in-sourcing;claims adjudication process improvement; service support and delivery process improvements, and Sarbanes Oxleyand Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) compliance. Manoj has also held consultant roles at Ameritrade, Inc., and HCL Technologies and has managed global offshore delivery teams.

Manoj Rana holds an MBA, Management and Strategy from Kellogg School of Management (2007) and an MS in Computer Information Systems from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India (1996). He is a frequent conference speaker and has published white papers on IT strategy, innovation and portfolio management.
